American court dismissed the case the Russians, took on the Brooklyn Bridge




In the USA, the court dismissed the case a 24-year old Russian Yaroslav Kolchin, pick up on a support Buklinskogo bridge. “Case closed, Yaroslav passport returned, he may soon go home,” – told RIA “Novosti” lawyer young man Rovshan Shakira.


According to him, the judge took into account the fact that Kolchin in New York to volunteer. Thus, the young man managed to avoid 90 days of the American prison, insisted on the earlier charges.However, he had to pay a fine in the amount of 1.5 thousand dollars.


Kolchin himself earlier told RIA “Novosti” that worked in volunteer organizations NewYorkCares, in particular, has been involved in the assembly of furniture for primary school students in a primary school in Brooklyn, brought into the proper form of the book from the school library and applied to the walls of the school colorful pointers . In addition, he helped organize the free food and cleaning kitchens for the poor, weeded some parts of Prospect Park, handing out food to needy families, assorted baby clothes for shelters.


The young man said that all those engaged in voluntarily, became interested in volunteering and going to continue to do the same, and after his return to Russia.


In late August, Jaroslav Kolchin, who arrived in the United States on a tourist visa, climbed up on one of the support beams of the Brooklyn Bridge to take some photos. By the time the police arrived he was already at the top of the support.


August 26 the court filed Kolchin charges of illegal entry into the territory of the object and disturbing public order. He was released on bail of five thousand dollars. The prosecutor’s office insisted on a Russian prison for a period of 90 days.
