Mini Clubman Concept goes to Geneva

A new generation of versatile receive standard doors

Press office Mini published the first collection of photographs of the concept, previewing the next generation Clubman. New with the straightforward title Clubman Concept debuts in Geneva next week, judging by the appearance of maturity (and numerous spy photos that we published this winter), serial incarnation wagon is not far off.

Compared with the current generation present on the market since 2008, the new “Klabmen” dramatically increased: 25 cm long and 16 cm (!) Wide. It is possible not only to increase the space for passengers and luggage space, but also to get rid of the asymmetric rear side doors, which critics have dubbed “granary” or “Shed”: Clubman now has four identical perfectly ordinary door. However, branded hinged rear tailgate design has remained unchanged.

The rest of the design in 2015 Clubman can be called more evolutionary: the brightest detail exterior, perhaps – the large taillights adelomorphous with moire pattern. Interior looks much more futuristic – with contrasting color scheme, concise appliances and an abundance of sensory elements. I wonder how much of that goes to making serial wagon … I think we know the answer already this year, but for now, all attention concept. Your opinion, readers?
