Under the fancy name Seahorse the band released the first sample homemade catamaran Seahorse. However, to call “it” catamaran is quite difficult, because it combines elements of different water vehicles, sometimes literally. Creator of unusual vehicle is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Russell Randall. As noted by the inventor himself, his engineering inspiration he drew from the work of his university teacher Mark drill.
In general, American catamaran Seahorse turned in the best Russian tradition: simple, cheap, and most importantly – safe. At first glance, it is doubtful that the Seahorse generally able to swim, especially knowing that it must move the propeller on the rear. Even more distrust of the Seahorse occurs when you realize that it is driven by the power of the legs. However, due to the pontoons upon which the vehicle – its contact with the water is minimized. As a consequence, pedaling can be absolutely calm and confident on the water slide. Cruising speed “skate” – 34 km \ h without flow.

An interesting detail is also the fact that the bicycle wheel became the ship’s helm. In this regard, should be accustomed to the Seahorse, since transport is quite cumbersome and not agile. It is intended for just one person, but can withstand and two or more children sitting on a tent between holding the pontoons.
One should not forget that the catamaran Seahorse almost completely disassembled without tools. This makes it easy to load it in the car for transportation from place to place. Is this a pedal not so little, most budget model will cost 3900 dollars.
