At the annual Consumer Electronics Show International Consumer Electronics Show, which takes place in Las Vegas, was shown a new, innovative collar for dogs, which can be called “smart”. Actually, any separate action device called Scout does, but it does say that they can not be useful.
The fact that Scout – is a kind of an animal tracker. The device looks like a very ordinary collar, except that it has a pretty bow and something else. Here is the “something else” – is not nothing but a camera. The camera lens is directed forward and allows you to see virtually the same as the dog sees. This can be very useful if there is a need to know what busy “man’s best friend.”
Built-in GPS receiver collar makes it easy to track the location of a dog with a card and a special application to your smartphone. It is, along with Wi-Fi transmitter Scout is used to transfer images from the camera collar.
Noteworthy is also that in addition to the camera, Wi-Fi and GPS, the device has a speaker and a microphone. With their help you can give commands remotely dog or talk to someone who is next to it.
Collar Scout will come in two varieties: Scout 5000 – a full-featured model, as well as Scout in 2500 – a model with limited functionality. Accordingly, it will affect the value of – 200 and $ 100, respectively, by the collar.
