OFFICIAL: NOKIA PREPARES FOR ANDROID SMARTPHONE

Nokia company after the sale of the mobile division of Microsoft to focus on their business decisions, and recently announced the acquisition of Alcatel-Lucent to enhance its position in the telecom market. Another important asset map HERE, the company decided to sell, among the main contenders called Apple. However, consumer decisions are not alien to the company, which was confirmed in most Nokia, announced plans to release Android-smartphone.

Chinese President, Nokia Mike Van (Mike Wang) opened the card press, saying that the company engages in Sichuan Chinese factories for the production of next year’s smartphone on Android. He also confirmed that the R & D center and move to China, also in Sichuan. Details on how the device is Mike Van not provided. Perhaps the eminent manufacturer is not limited to a single smartphone, and immediately release a whole line of gadgets.

Disturbing point is an appeal to the Chinese capacity. The company already has experience in the local market with the Android-tablet Nokia N1 (“live” photo), but with the release of the smartphone in China, Nokia expects countless smaller competitors, as well as a firm foothold Xiaomi, Lenovo, Huawei, ZTE and OPPO. It is possible that the manufacturer understands the danger of such competition, and will begin its activities with those markets where its brand still has more or less serious weight, in particular, a native of Finland and Russia.

But the most interesting is the choice is Android as the OS, not Windows Phone, for which so clung to Stephen Elop, successfully sell Microsoft’s mobile division, after the cost of the asset has fallen markedly. The company obviously does not believe in the mobile operating system of his former partner, just prefer the “green robot.”

Earlier, the head of the company said that Nokia has no plans to return to the issue of consumer phones, but considering the option of licensing its name to other manufacturers. Probably six months in the company revised this approach and is preparing to return to the market, which has become much more competitive than it was during the leadership Finns.
