Huawei P8 is based on more productive chipset Kirin 935

A few days ago we learned that the hardware platform Huawei P8 Kirin 930 is built on a not very fresh 28-nm process technology and uses the core Cortex A53 / A53e, which, although they can reduce the power consumption of the chipset does not differ too high productivity.

Until today, it was believed that this is the hardware platform will underpin flagship smartphone Huawei P8. But before we get upset that the new product would not be the performance of the smartphone, as sources told that actually Huawei P8 will receive an 8-core chipset Kirin 935, which would be an improved version of the platform 930 and Kirin unlike it will boast a more powerful graphics processor .

These same sources say the use of a smartphone camera sensor Sony IMX278, about the characteristics of which is still unknown. But we do not rule out that it will be some custom sensor designed specifically for the Chinese manufacturer.

It is expected that Huawei P8 will be available in two versions – Standard Edition and Platinum Edition. A distinctive feature of the latest version of the smartphone will be rather big price tag of $ 810 and the sapphire crystal on the front and rear panels. And so the use of a scarce material clearly indicates that Huawei P8 Platinum Edition will be produced in limited edition.

Appeared earlier rumors indicate that Huawei P8 installed 5.2-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels, the main 13-megapixel camera with dual LED flash, front 5MP sensor, 3 GB of RAM and battery capacity of 3000 mAh. The official announcement of the smartphone on April 15, while sales of Huawei P8 Standard Edition will begin April 22.
