Chinese company OPPO recently patented a new technology that allows, without interfering with the existing production process displays, make any smartphone visually frameless. Previously, we were able to look at the “real” photo gadget image that can be much better to consider directly the brink of the screen. Despite the mediocre quality of the video, the effect is achieved exactly as we described earlier and: due to the special bend on the edge, which is a transparent layer refracts light from the display so that the picture is, in fact, is projected on a bend of the smartphone. As we expected, the technology, according to the video, is not ideal because of the distortion images and colors.
