LG smartphone sales for the year grew by 26%

The South Korean company yesterday unveiled its new flagship LG G4. Today unveiled the next financial report for the first quarter of 2015. Even without the new flagship, the manufacturer fixes the remarkable growth, especially in the smartphone market.


LG’s operating profit for the quarter increased and amounted to 305.2 billion Korean won (about 277.5 million dollars), and the net – fixed at 38.4 billion won (34.9 million dollars). But revenues remained unchanged – 14 trillion won ($ 12.7 billion). The company is associated with a decrease in revenues from TV, but the growth in sales of smartphones.


The company shipped the first quarter of 2015 15.4 million smartphones, an increase of 26%. Total Division had revenue of 3.27 billion dollars.
