Tim Kring: "New "Heroes" will surprise the audience"

Tim Kring, creator of the series Heroes, spoke about the work on the reboot of the popular show and shared the first details about the plot and the format of the Heroes Reborn.

Do you like the new 13-episode format of “Heroes”?

It’s no secret that many viewers are fond of mini-series more than 24 serial seasons aired from September to May. People are willing to wait for the continuation of their favorite shows for years. Filmmakers learned a lot from the book series like “Harry Potter.” Then author JK Rowling announced beforehand readers that only plans to write seven books. Thus, fans of the novels can know at what point in the story is completed. The same applies to the mini-series format. Eight years ago we planned transitions between seasons, but had no idea how long “Heroes” will be aired. This, of course, difficult decision to part with some of the characters of the show. The new 13-episode format has a big advantage, because now we can put the story in the exact number of episodes. We have something to surprise the audience.

Who decided to return to “Heroes” on the screens?

Guide NBC offered me again to take the lead on this franchise. Four years ago we had to finish the story, failing to realize all our ideas. The team will try to use the series storylines, which was planned to present to the audience in the fifth season of“Heroes”. We have new and fresh ideas that will hopefully help you successfully restart the project. In the mini-series will be a lot of new characters. In this world in which the action unfold show will be recognizable to fans of “Heroes.” The plot of the new series will start after the events of the fourth season.

Should we wait for the return of the characters of the original series?

Most of the characters are created by us specifically for the new show. Important role in the miniseries play Noah Bennet, linking together several storylines original“Heroes”. Once the work on reboot, I turned to Jack Coleman, to make sure that he can help us to work on Heroes Reborn. We expect that the fans favorite characters to link the stories of old and new series.

According to recent reports, the company Coleman in the cast miniseries can make Zachary Quinto. “I am grateful to Tim Kring for his role Siler, changed the course of my career - said the actor. I would be happy to participate in the creation of Heroes Reborn, but I can prevent busy work schedule. I am sure that Kring give viewers a great series. “
