The new smartphone Acer Liquid Jade Z, which replaces Liquid Jade, presented in the summer at Computex 2014, differs from its predecessor in design, support for LTE networks and, therefore, used the platform. The rest is two identical smartphones.
However, accurate to say that relative Jade Z is presented at the end of last year, Jade S – their differences are only in the texture back cover, the number of processor cores, amount of RAM, flash memory, and charging the battery capacity.
So, Liquid Jade Z received a 5 “IPS-screen with a resolution of 720 × 1280, coated Gorilla Glass 3. Zero Air Gap Technology provides higher brightness and contrast, resistance to glare, reduced thickness and increased sensitivity. The weight of the device is only 110 g, and thickness – 7.9 mm. Installed battery 2000 mAh.
It is based on a 64-bit single-chip system Mediatek. It must be a 28-nm chip MT6732 quad-core Cortex-A53 @ 1,5 GHz dual-core and graphics Mali-T760. There are two SIM-cards. A memory subsystem is represented by 1 GB of RAM and flash storage volume of 8 GB.
For photos and videos is a 13-megapixel camera with flash, autofocus and aperture lens aperture at f / 1,8. An additional level of quality of shooting is to provide technology Acer Bright Magic. Smartphone Acer Liquid Jade Z will be available in Europe, Middle East and Africa in March at an initial retail price of € 200, which is 1.5 times less than the cost of Jade S.
