US President Barack Obama was awarded the highest award of the country actress Meryl Streep, singer and composer Stevie Wonder and Chilean writer Isabel Allende. The ceremony took place at the White House on Monday. This year’s Medal of Freedom awarded to 19 people, including former US President Bill Clinton and actress Marlo Thomas.
