U.S. economic growth will increase to 3% by the end of 2014

Adverse weather conditions are likely to have weakened the U.S. economy in the first three months of 2014 to 1.9 % in terms of annual growth , according to a survey of the National Association for Business Economics (National Association for Business Economics, NABE).

However , despite this, the survey participants still expect accelerating U.S. economic growth to 3% in annual terms in the IV quarter of this year , reports Associated Press.

Average rating lifting of U.S. GDP for 2014 is 2.8 %, which is 2.5% better than December . In 2015, growth will accelerate to 3.1%.

NABE surveyed 48 economists expect consumer spending growth this year at 2.6% rather than 2.4% as it was in December. Reason for the improved prediction is the fact that the increase in wages while inflation ahead .

Given the improved prospects for the average growth for the year 57 % of economists expect the completion of asset purchase program of the Federal Reserve in the IV quarter , as well as plans to CB. A quarter of the respondents believe that it will happen even sooner , and only 17% of respondents predict completion of folding in 2015 .

Third of respondents even expects first rate hike by the central bank in the U.S. in 2014 . NABE conducted the survey from February 19 to March 5.
