Japanese research group working on the basis of the company Mitsubishi Heavy Industries made a sensational discovery, which may become the basis for a new technological breakthrough. For the first time in history, scientists have been able to transfer enough power electricity between devices in space, without the usual wiring. In other words, scientists have created a wireless way to transfer power.
A method for the transfer was within the framework of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries for electricity transmission from space to earth by means of electromagnetic (or any other) signal. Send a signal to the charge of electricity failed so far only on Earth, but the transmission distance is still far from the only “space” but even from the “orbital”. However, this success is encouraging.
The main achievement of the research group is not in the fact that they were able to make wireless transfer of electric charge, and that for the first time this charge was able to take and use. The charge passed through the air, and its capacity is 10 kilowatts. Managed to transmit a signal over a distance of 500 meters. Sending a signal and its reception was carried out with the help of special devices created by scientists from Mitsubishi Heavy Industries.
I should add that the development of this kind is not the first decade of the interest of scientists, moreover, the possibility of transmitting electric charge in space without the use of conventional wires, scientists thought XX and even XIX centuries.
