Zuckerberg spoke about the UKRAINIAN OFFICE FACEBOOK and blocking POSTS

In the Ukrainian segment of the social network Facebook, the campaign is calling for Mark Zuckerberg to open a local office in the territory of Ukraine. The campaign even joined Petro Poroshenko. And so, during a question and answer session with users of social network, Mark Zuckerberg has stated its position on this possibility and told why the number of reports was blocked Ukrainian users.


The founder of Facebook said the advantage of the fact that the company does not have a large number of offices and its employees are not “scattered throughout the world.” Nevertheless, the possibility of opening the Ukrainian office, he did not rule out, however, this is clearly not going to happen in the near future “is what the company could consider in the future.”


According to Zuckerberg position, opening of the office only makes sense in those countries which will include units engaged in sales and marketing: “But since we are going to increase over time, we will, of course, consider all the country.”


In addition, Mark Zuckerberg said of the complaints Ukrainian users who have stated that many of the posts have been blocked for political reasons. He said that many of the locked positions violated community standards Facebook, because they were too aggressive “for us is not acceptable content, containing an open aggression, insults based on ethnicity or incitement to violence.”


On the claim of Ukrainian users of social networks over the fact that their positions are moderated alleged Russian office of Facebook, Zuckerberg noted that the company has no Russian representative, and the Ukrainian segment of the social network is moderated by an international team from Dublin.
