In Italy the most active volcano awoke Europe

On the night of Monday, June 16, woke up in Italy’s most active volcano of the European continent – Etna, according to Reuters. Lava flow erupted from the newly formed crater on the southern slope of the volcano, located on the island of Sicily, and moved toward the deserted valley.

Frequent eruptions, moreover, changed their character. Last fatalities due to volcanic activity of Etna was recorded in 1987, when two tourists were killed in a sudden eruption near the top.
